The skin around the eye is particularly subject to the age effect; eyes look puffy, dull and tired with dark circles and bags under the eyes, drooping eyelids that can also create visual problems.

Blepharoplasty is one of the most requested treatments of plastic surgery by men and women and offers excellent results. It can be performed surgically or by laser.

It requires usually one-day hospital with anaesthesia (local or total), the recovery is fast, in the following days there is a slight swelling and ecchymosis and it is possible to return to work in about ten days.

The recommended period for this treatment is autumn (September / October) since in the summer sweating and sun exposure may not facilitate the healing process as well as excessive cold in the winter months.
